Have a question?
Why do we ask so many questions?
We ask many questions so that your project, well known to you, becomes well known to us. We want to make sure we know the entire scope of your finishing needs including incoming packaging, as received conditions, special handling requirements, tolerance & measurement concerns, masking and racking locations, finishing specifications, testing requirements, final inspection requirements, and final packaging for shipment.
Additionally, do you require RoHS compliant finishing? Do you require “first-article” trial runs before we run and complete the entire quantity received? When do you need your parts? Do you have specific shipping and transportation requirements? Do you have price point targets, which are known at the time of your request for quote?
Our goal to know up-front your total needs, so as to provide you with the best possible finishing experience with Erie Plating Company.
We want to do things right the first time and make sure you get the surface finishing you need. If you don’t need the extensive testing requirements of the military and aerospace companies, for example, we may be able to reduce costs for you. Customers don’t always think about those things first, and they rely on us to understand their needs and meet their requirements, whether stated or unstated. As a result, Erie Plating Company has developed an extensive quoting and contract review process.
And yes, we do ask a lot of questions. We do that so we can meet your requirements in a timely, cost-effective manner while reducing the number of times we have to call you back for information. So, bear with us. Our interest in discovering your complete and accurate requirements is what differentiates us from other plating companies. We want to do it right the first time for you.
