RoHS Plating for a New Century

"RoHS" stands for the restriction of certain hazardous substances. This directive has banned the release on the EU market of new electrical and electronic equipment containing more than the allowed levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, and polybrominated biphenyl (PBBs), and polychlorinated diphenyl (PCBs).

Erie Plating Company offers RoHS-compliant plating for many of our processes including chromate (we offer trivalent chromate conversion plating as a safe alternative to hexavalent chromate), passivation, zinc plating, anodizing, nickel chrome plating, tin plating, and more.
